Hello! I’m Karen Nicole Taylor.
I’ve been a writer my entire career. I didn’t learn to cook until I was in my 30s. I had the great fortune to learn with the help of several great cooks — who really understand the art and science of cooking delicious food.
I began to have health problems in my 40s—including Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, an inflammatory disease. I also developed migraines and sleeping problems.
None of these chronic illnesses were too debilitating—I managed them all with medications!
But when the rug was pulled out from under me by inflammation, my medication managed, average state of health fell to the wayside. I was facing a chronic, debilitating disease that could ruin my life.
Five doctors and dozens of tests revealed nothing—but one doctor stated to my horror: “Something’s cooking!”
It turns out he was right—but the something cooking was me!
Thanks to finding an inflammation expert, in the form of an acupucturist-nutritionist, I changed my diet—and began cooking only healthy, anti-inflammatory meals.
Within six months, the inflammation receded and I returned to my active life.
Only now I was on a new mission: To inform others about the power of diet to heal some illnesses and diseases.
That’s when I started writing: a new book I’ll be launching soon called the Inflammation Elimination Diet and the Inflammation Elimination Cookbook.
